We also take the time to fix colors, blemishes, creases, red eye and much more, see our results/examples page, by incorporating and specializing in high-end editing applications, such as Photoshop, to elevate and enhance your digitized media which is included in our price! What is digitizing?
Digitize means to convert (pictures, negatives, slides or videos) into a digital form that can be processed by a computer. Digitizing, scanning, transferring, recording - we use all sorts of terms to describe the ability to get older hard-media onto a computer for the convenience of sharing or backup purposes.
Why is it important?
Over the years, we've seen technology come and go. We are then left with our memories held hostage by obsolete equipment leading us to bury those old photos, slides, VHS tapes or negatives in an attic, basement or crawl space only to deteriorate, get lost or be damaged over time - being lost forever. What exactly do we do?
We digitize old media, which includes photos, negatives, slides, and video cassettes in the Northeast Ohio area. This would include VHS to thumb drive and photo, slide or negative to a file so you can create prints. We convert old media into a computer file. We DO NOT create prints; This can be done through CVS, Walgreens or Walmart by using the file we provide. We also restore, colorize, and fix already digitized images, as well as offer video editing services for any video project you might have in mind.
How to drop off your media?
Drop off is by appointment only: Please call 1-888-80-PHOTO (1-888-807-4686) or email Harvestedmemories@gmail.com to make an appointment. Very flexible on pickup and drop off times outside of business hours and on weekends. Media will be dropped off at our home-based business located at 997 Stony Hill Rd. Hinckley OH 44233; We are south of Cleveland.
Payment?
Payment is made at the end of each project. Bigger projects may be split into multiple parts in which payment will be made after each part is completed.
- We accept credit card, debit card, cash and check made out to "Harvested Memories LLC".
- If paying with credit card, there will be a 3.5% surcharge. There will be no fee for debit.
- When paying with credit or debit, you will be emailed an invoice and can pay securely online.
